Job Description/ Requirement
Responsibilities:
Assist the Sales Manager in strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting
To cultivate and enhance long term relationships with activities such as marketing, events, application, routine servicing and end-user training
Secure jobs/contracts through marketing and networking to meet sales targets
Review quotations and cost estimates and strategizing to ensure bids are comprehensively estimated and submitted as per client's tender requirements
Prepare sales proposal and follow-through the sales pipeline
Attend to enquiries and conduct presentations to prospective customers
Follow up on billings and invoices
Liaise and negotiate with client's representatives
Identify, assess and manage risks relating to the contracts, which could impact the bottom line.
Responsible for developing technical specifications with the team, principal and vendor for complex projects.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent engineering courses
2 - 3 years experience in related industry is preferred, especially dealing with O&G, marine sectors.
Meticulous with good planning and co-ordination skills
Ability to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision
Dynamic personality, creative thinking and willingness to go the extra mile
Fluency in English and Malay with ability in spoken Chinese language will be an advantage
Possess own transport
